Motherwell start 2011/12 at home v Inverness
The season will start with a visit from Inverness on Saturday 23 July. Stuart McCall will lead us into his first full season and he'll face his old team mate Terry Butcher for the first game of the season. The following Saturday will see us at Rugby Park. Our first trip to Dunfermline for some time will be on August 27. In the pre-split games Rangers play at Fir Park twice (August 20 and March 31) while Celtic visit on November 5 (no jokes about fireworks!). There will ne no game on Ne'erday but we'll be at ibrox on January 2. The last game before the split will be at Easter Road in early April. Apart from the games on Sunday August 7 (Hearts h), Wednesday December 28 (Dunfermline h) and Monday January 2 (Rangers a) all our games are listed for Saturdays. No doubt the TV schedulers will force some alterations. The last game of the season will be on the weekend of May 12/13 2012. Motherwell's full fixture list is here (soon).
