Motherwell begin cup campaign away to Albion Rovers

The draw for the fourth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup handed Motherwell a trip to Coatbridge - Albion Rovers

It's been a long while since we had a meaningful match against our wee Lanarkshire rivals.  Soccerbase reveals that we last met them in the Cup in 1933/34 when we had a 6-0 home win.  More recently there was a League Cup clash in 1987,

Alex Ferguson assisted in the proceedings and managed to mention Hewitt's quick goal against us when Aberdeen knocked us out the cup at Fir Park.

The tie is scheduled for Saturday 30 November.
