McCall expects to be best of enemies

Stuart McCall expects to be regarded as "the enemy" when he takes Motherwell to his former stomping ground Ibrox for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash on Saturday. McCall was a huge favourite of the Rangers fans when he played in midfield during the success-laden 1990s. However, the former Scotland midfielder returns to Govan for the first time on business since leaving the club in 1998 trying to put a dent in the home side's Clydesdale Bank Premier League title hopes which he insists will be the main focus of the home support. "Managing a side against Rangers was something that I could never have envisaged before coming to Motherwell," he said. "It will be slightly strange going back to Ibrox but you just get on with it. I am there to do a job and that is to get three points. "I am not expecting any great reception, I am there as the enemy, as an opponent. First and foremost I am there to do a job for Motherwell."
