McCall delight at Randolph call-up

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has hailed the progress of goalkeeper Darren Randolph following his call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad. Randolph has been named in Giovanni Trapattoni`s squad for a Euro 2012 qualifier against Macedonia and a friendly against Uruguay. The 23-year-old has been a revelation since signing a three-year contract at Fir park after his Charlton contract expired last summer, beating John Ruddy`s Motherwell clean sheet record earlier this month with his 16th shut-out of the season. McCall said: "You are delighted for all the players that get called up, they have worked hard to do so. "Darren has been exceptional for Motherwell, since I`ve been at the club he has been outstanding. "It is fully merited and hopefully he will do well when he`s away with them at the games and training if required."
