McCall and Craigan meet the fans

30 August 2011 09:59
Motherwell fans have an opportunity to meet Stuart McCall and Stephen Craigan on Thursday evening at the Supporters Trust AGM. The doors at the Centenary Suite open at 7pm for what promises to be an interesting event. The formalities of the AGM will start the evening and Chair Joe Smith will give a report of the Trust’s activities over the last year.  Next, the club manager and captain will join the audience for a question and answer session.  The Sun’s Andy Devlin will keep the proceedings rolling along.  There will be a mixture of questions from the floor together with a selection from those received by email ( to fansforum@mstonline.net). Given the impressive start the team has made this season there is bound to be lots of praise for the guests but no doubt questioners will probe the thinking behind the recent success.  The transfer window will have closed and it there are certain to be questions about the ins and outs that did and did not happen. Our captain has completed his testimonial year and announced his retirement from international football.  What are his long term plans?  How good did it feel to lead Motherwell out at Hampden in May’s Cup Final?  And what did it feel like afterwards? Entry to the AGM/Forum is free for members and non-members will be able to join the Trust on the night.  Subscription for new and continuing members is £10.   Online membership is available at the Trust website (www.mstonline.net).
