Livid McGhee slams Quinn

Motherwell manager Mark McGhee believes Paul Quinn has let his team-mates down after the 22-year-old broke his jaw in a nightclub incident.

The Steelmen captain will not play again this season, denting the club's hopes of clinching a top-three finish and a place in next term's UEFA Cup.

A furious McGhee said: "I think players nowadays have to be responsible and not put themselves in these sorts of situations.

"Don't get me wrong, the lads are entitled to a social life, but they have to do it with common-sense.

"We've lost him at a very important time of the season and I'm disappointed with that. He's got to learn common-sense."
