Lasley pens new Well deal

Motherwell midfielder Keith Lasley has agreed a new two-year contract at Fir Park.

Lasley, 28, has spent seven years with the Steelmen during two spells and will now remain at the club until the end of the 2010 season.

The industrious midfielder has made 39 appearances for Mark McGhee's side this season.

"This season has been brilliant - to play a big role in a team doing so well," he told the club's official website.

"We've got a real chance of achieving something big this term and I want to be here not only doing that but reaping the rewards afterwards."
