Gannon swoops for Jennings

New Motherwell boss Jim Gannon has made his first signing after landing midfielder Steve Jennings on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers.
Gannon was installed in the Fir Park hot-seat at the beginning of the week and the former Stockport County boss has wasted little time in snapping up the 24-year-old midfielder.
The former Everton youngster made over 160 appearances during his time at Prenton Park.
However, Jennings has not received international clearance in time to make his Well debut in Thursday's Europa League qualifying tie with Llanelli.
