Forbes extends Well contract

Motherwell midfielder Ross Forbes has signed a contract extension to keep him at Fir Park until the summer of 2012.

The 20-year-old has broken into the first team with the Steelmen this season and is happy to have secured a new deal.

He told the club's official website: "It's brilliant and I am delighted to be staying at Motherwell.

"It's great to be rewarded; I don't think I could've asked for a better start.

"It has been a good start to the season for me and the team and obviously now I need to work hard to ensure that continues.

"Now I've got my future sorted, it's all about learning the game under Jim Gannon and developing into a better footballer at my time at Fir Park."
