Motherwell defender Martyn Corrigan has extended his stay at Fir Park until the summer of 2006, after signing a new contract with the SPL outfit.
The 26-year-old has been with Well for almost four years since signing from Falkirk and boss Terry Butcher is delighted to have agreed a new deal.
He told the club's official website: "We are delighted that Martyn has signed up after we had been talking to him for two or three months now.
"He enjoys his football here and is playing the best football of his career. He is a player who can play in a number of positions and always does well for us.
"He is the type of player who hardly misses a minute of a game and never misses training."
Meanwhile, Bill Dickie has officially taken over as club chairman, succeeding John Boyle at the helm.
