Beckham injury saddens Well boss

Motherwell boss Craig Brown expressed sympathy for David Beckham after a ruptured Achilles tendon appeared to rule him out of the World Cup finals.The midfielder, 34, sustained the injury while playing for on-loan club AC Milan in Sunday's win over Chievo.
