Motherwell's shareholders will be at Fir Park hours before Wednesday's game with St Mirren as the club has chosen to hold the 105th AGM at 5.15pm. The last Annual General Meeting took place in April 2010 when the accounts for the year ending may 2009 revealed the first loss for several years (£700k).  This time around a small operating profit (just short of £19,000) has been generated.  A look at the Financial Statement makes it clear that the transfers of Porter, Clarkson and Quinn formed a significant part of our income in 2009/10 and without their fees we would have recorded a loss. A summary of some of the figures is listed below. Year ending May 31 (£m)   2007 2008 2009 2010 Gate 1.4 1.8 1.4  1.4 TV & radio 0.9 1.5 1.4  1.3 Other income 1.4 1.3 1.6  1.7 Totals 3.7 4.65 4.43  4.38           Wages 2.2 3.0 3.1  3.0           Profit/(loss) 0.007 0.4 (0.7)  0.02 The custom following the formal business is for a Q&A session with the board and the manager.  Last year Craig Brown was on hand but it is unclear whether Stuart McCall will be available given the proximity of he 7.45pm kick off. The timing of the AGM only a couple of days after this week’s meeting of SPL teams will give the board an opportunity to update supporters on their position on the reconstruction proposals.  Will Motherwell vote for a return to a ten team league?
