James McAlister's injury-time goal gave First Division strugglers Morton an important victory over Partick Thistle.Donovan Simmons fired narrowly wide of Thistle's goal and then fluffed a header when in a promising position. The visitors found chances difficult to come by and David Rowson's weak header barely troubled keeper Kevin Cuthbert.
