Keeper quandary for Blue Brazil
First Division leaders Morton are boosted by the return of captain Mark McLaughlin for the visit of Cowdenbeath.
McLaughlin has been sidelined by a knee injury and he will be joined in returning to contention by David O'Brien, who has been ill recently.
However, Willie Dyer remains out with a dislocated shoulder and Stephen Stirling is not yet available after suffering a broken leg.
Ahead of the game, Cappielow boss Allan Moore said: "We have to win so I will take a victory of any kind.
"Cowdenbeath have given us problems in our three meetings this season so if it is 1-0 to us at the end I will be happy.
"It was nervous against Dumbarton last week until we got ahead and then we ran out 3-0 winners. A repeat of that would be great."
Cowdenbeath player-manager Colin Cameron faces a goalkeeping dilemma ahead of the trip.
With Thomas Flynn still out with a hand injury and recent trialist Colin Stewart unavailable, Cameron will choose between youngster Lee Wilson and Craig Wight for glove duty.
Cameron (hamstring) remains out along with Liam Cusack (knee) and Pablo Navas (hip), but there could be a recall for the fit-again David Cowan.
The Blue Brazil are unbeaten in four games and are out to make up for a disappointing end to their last visit to Greenock.
"Defensively we played really well but lost to a very late goal which was a real blow," said Cameron. "If we are as good defensively and offer more going forward we can get something from this visit."
