Morton keeper Derek Gaston sidelined

Morton goalkeeper Derek Gaston will be missing with a knee injury as the Greenock side face Queen of the South for the fourth time this season.

The Cappielow club, who have won their last three games, are also without the injured Rickie Lamie (hamstring), Frank McKeown (knee), Peter MacDonald (knee) and Romario Sabajo (ankle).

Manager Jim Duffy said: "The three games between us have been very tight and this one will be no different. A lot of Championship games this season are settled by one goal and if we can get one more than Queen of the South we will be in the top four which is very pleasing."

The Doonhamers, who have won their last two games, are without the injured trio of Andy Dowie (hamstring), Callum Tapping (knee) and Dale Hilson (foot).

Manager James Fowler said: "It is good that we have won recently, however I know that we can play better. We are doing the dirty side of the game well but we could do with a bit more threat.

"Our games with Morton have seen both sides win and one game drawn so there is little between us but hopefully we can come up with the edge that will earn us the three points."
