Lamie and Miller back for Morton

Morton welcome back Ricki Lamie and Michael Miller from suspension as they host Elgin with Romario Sabajo and Denny Johnstone in line for debuts if international clearance is received before kick-off.

Missing for the Greenock men are the injured Thomas O'Ware (ankle), Joe McKee (hamstring) and Michael Tidser (knee) with Peter MacDonald only given a 50-50 chance of starting due to a knock.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "I came across Elgin when I was the manager of Clyde and they were always a side that could score. Jim Weir has made them better defensively since he took charge but if we go about things properly then we should win."

Elgin will have Stuart Black on goalkeeping duty as St Johnstone have not given permission for Mark Hurst to play, however the other two players on-loan from the Perth club, Liam Gordon and George Hunter, have been cleared to play.

Manager Jim Weir has still to hear back from Ross County over the availability of Kyle McLeod, but with Matt Cooper returning from suspension and Mark Nicolson and Archie MacPhee fit enough to start, the Borough Briggs boss is upbeat.

Weir said: "We put in a good performance to defeat Stirling last weekend and have a stronger squad for this game so we can go to Cappielow and look to cause a shock."
