Dee bid dented
Dundee's title bid was dealt a huge blow as they were defeated 1-0 at Cappielow Park by relegated Morton.
Dundee were dominant in the first half but failed to create many chances, and it was Morton who should have taken the lead but Rowan Vine fired over from close range.
Morton continued to frustrate Dundee after the break and they took the lead when Dougie Imrie slammed Vine's cross into the top left-hand corner.
They nearly doubled their lead when Fouad Bachiro fired towards the top corner only to have his shot expertly saved by Kyle Letheren.
Dundee nearly snatched a point late on but Iain Davidson's header was saved by substitute goalkeeper Nicolas Caraux.
