Stalemate at Almondvale
Livingston were frustrated by Morton as they were held to a goalless draw at the Almondvale Stadium.
Marc McNulty came close to giving the hosts an early lead was denied well by Alan Combe.
Combe's opposite number was soon called into action, Andrew McNeil preventing Peter McDonald with a good block.
McDonald then went close again, but McNeil was on hand to push his header round a post.
Combe produced a fine stop to deny McNulty on the hour mark before Peter Weatherson blocked the follow-up on the line.
Kyle Jacobs was next to test Combe but the Morton stopper kept out his header as the hosts became increasingly frustrated.
They were reduced to speculative efforts as they game drew to a close and Morton held out for a point.
