Wilson misses out
Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy is missing defender Laurence Wilson through suspension for the home clash with Chesterfield.
Wilson is banned for one game following his sending off in last weekend's dismal 4-0 defeat at Oxford.
And striker Phil Jevons is ruled out after sustaining a nasty head injury at the Kassam Stadium last week that left him needing hospital treatment.
However, defender Will Haining could win a promotion from the bench to earn a place in the centre of defence with Andy Parrish moving to left-back.
Striker Paul Mullin is expected to start in attack as the Shrimps look to bounce back from last weekend's abject surrender.
Assistant boss Mark Lillis said: "We are all going to work our hardest to put things right."
