Triple blow for Shrimps

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will be without a trio of players for the crunch home clash with fellow strugglers Burton. Paul Scott (knee), Paul Mullin (back) and Kieran Charnock (Achilles) are all sidelined as the Shrimps seek the win that would take them closer to safety. Meanwhile, on-loan goalkeeper Joe Anyon returned to Lincoln this week. The 24-year-old made four appearances during his month-long stay with the Shrimps but McIlroy's first-choice goalkeeper Barry Roche recently returned to action after injury and will again line up between the posts. The Shrimps have struggled for much of the campaign but eased their relegation fears with victory at Rotherham last weekend. And McIlroy said: "If we can carry that spirit and determination into this weekend's game we can look to move a huge step closer to safety."
