Spencer delighted with draw
On-loan Morecambe striker Jimmy Spencer admits he was delighted to play a part in the Shrimps' 1-1 draw at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The teenager, on loan from Huddersfield, came off the bench to win the penalty that Phil Jevons converted to earn a deserved point.
Spencer also went close late in the game with an excellent curling effort that almost gave the Shrimps all three points.
Spencer said: "I enjoyed it on Saturday when I came on. I'm glad that I played a part in us getting a point which I thought we deserved.
"It was a definite penalty and I thought I had scored a winner late on but their keeper pulled off a great save."
