Shrimps sign Duffy in loan deal

The 23-year-old winger has signed until the end of the season at Christie Park with a view to a permanent move in the summer. Manager Sammy McIlroy expressed his delight at finally securing Duffy's services, having seen the deal delayed by the transfer embargo placed on the club. He told the club's official website: "It is no secret I have been looking to sign Mark for a long time. "He is a player who I think has great potential and will be a real asset to our squad. He's only young but I am sure he has the talent to do well for the club." Duffy is set to make his debut on Tuesday night when Morecambe host Grimsby.
