Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has released five players after guiding the club to their second successive mid-table finish in League Two.
Adam Yates, Matthew Blinkhorn, Michael Howard, Diarmuid O'Carroll and Matty Bell have all been told their futures lie elsewhere.
McIlroy told the Shrimps' official website: "It's always difficult when you let players go and I'd like to thank all the lads for their contribution to Morecambe Football Club.
"They've all played their part in our success in some way and these decisions are never taken lightly.
"We always have to look to the future though. We know where we need to strengthen next year and we'll be working hard to bring in the players I've identified over the summer.''
