Shrimps in good shape for Bulls trip

McIlroy handed a debut to new signing Simon Hackney in Saturday's 1-1 home clash with Grimsby. The Colchester winger joined the Shrimps on a month's loan and will hope to keep his place in the starting line-up. McIlroy has no fresh injury or suspension worries and is not expected to make wholesale changes as his side bid to keep their outside play-off hopes alive. The Shrimps were left frustrated by their failure to beat Grimsby on Saturday and goalkeeper Barry Roche has urged them to be more clinical. He said: "We created a lot of chances but didn't take them and that has been our problem this season."
