Shrimps fail with late Duffy bid

Shrimps manager Sammy McIlroy had been told he could sign one player during the January transfer window, and had lined up Duffy to boost his beleagured squad. An agreement was reached between the two clubs but the paperwork could not be completed in time for a deal to go through.
