Morecambe goalkeeper Scott Davies has pledged his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract at Christie Park.
Davies spent most of last season on the substitute's bench, but the 21-year-old shot-stopper is determined to fight his way in to the Shrimps' starting line-up next term.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed for another two years and I aim to challenge Barry (Roche) all the way for the number one spot.
"I thought I did well last season when I came into the side but I'm only young and I know I'll keep on improving.
Meanwhile, Paul Lloyd has signed a new 12-month deal with the club.
