Shrimps boss preparing to swoop

The Shrimps claimed a respectable 11th-placed finish at the end of the recent League Two campaign despite having picking up a plethora of injuries throughout the season. As a result, McIlroy is keen to add more depth to his side, with a right-back and two new strikers at the top of his wanted list. He told The Visitor: "I'm chasing one or two more and am hopeful that I can tie up a right-back before I go away, discussions are going well on that one. "I have targets in mind and we'll just have to see how it goes."
