Shrimps boss calls for big turnout

Published: 10 Dec 2009 - 10:50:07

The Shrimps are in buoyant mood after six successive League Two wins as they prepare to face a Cherries outfit who currently lie second in the table. McIlroy is calling on fans to turn out in force at Christie Park on Saturday and says a bumper crowd is no more than they deserve. He said: "I hope we get a really good turnout to get behind the lads. "They deserve a good support after their recent form. "They have been tremendous and it is a great achievement for any team to win six successive games at any level."
