Shrimps back to winning ways

The Shrimps were hoping to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat by Burnley on Tuesday and boss Sammy McIlroy gave starts to trialists Nick Chadwick, Steve Woods, Mark Hudson and Karl Munroe. Southport took the lead after 28 minutes thanks to Ciaran Kilheeney before Mark Duffy equalised with a penalty after Chadwick was fouled by Southport keeper Tony McMillan. Chadwick then scored the decisive goal, finishing neatly after Duffy's precision pass.
