Shrimps suffer double ban blow

Striker Garry Hunter and defender Laurence Wilson must serve one-match bans after picking up their fifth bookings of the season in Monday's 4-1 defeat at Rochdale.

Phil Jevons (back) and Paul Mullin (knee ligaments) are also rated as doubtful after suffering knocks in last weekend's home defeat against Accrington.

Neil Wainwright was also forced to leave the field against Accrington and may be out for the season after picking up an Achilles injury, while midfielder Ian Craney faces an operation next week on an ankle injury that will leave him unavailable until the latter stages of the campaign.

Striker Michael Twiss needed three stitches to a cut above his eye on Monday but should be available.

A pitch inspection has been scheduled for 9.30 on Saturday morning.
