Shrimps monitoring Rundle fitness
Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will assess the fitness of striker Adam Rundle ahead of the home clash with Gillingham.
The summer signing missed Tuesday`s 3-1 Carling Cup defeat at the hands of Burnley due to injury and was replaced in the starting line-up by Mark Duffy.
McIlroy will hope to have Rundle available as his side bid to kickstart their campaign after three npower League Two matches without a win.
Defender Will Haining was available again in midweek after missing last Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Burton to be with his pregnant wife.
However, he may be forced to settle for a place on the bench again as the Shrimps seek to take the positives from Tuesday`s defeat.
McIlroy said: "With a bit more luck we will start to win games."
