Shrimps miss trio again

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will again be without a trio of players when his side travel to Gillingham. Paul Scott (knee), Paul Mullin (back) and Kieran Charnock (Achilles) are all sidelined as the Shrimps seek to build on last weekend`s 2-1 home win over Burton. McIlroy has no other injury or suspension concerns but Danny Carlton may have earned himself a starting role after he came off the bench to hit the winner last weekend. Carlton replaced James Spencer on the hour and found the net seven minutes later in an impressive cameo which earned him a ringing endorsement from his boss. McIlroy said: "It was a great finish from Danny Carlton. He had a couple more chances as well and could have scored a hat-trick."
