Shrimps injuries starting to mount up

McIlroy was without Dave Artell, Darren Moss and Danny Adams through injury and illness during Tuesday's goalless draw at home to Bradford. He subsequently drafted Will Haining back into the side, but he succumbed to a hamstring injury which will sideline him for a number of weeks. McIlroy said: "We are beginning to see the injuries mount up and we are stretched defensively at the moment. "Danny Adams's son was ill so we had to block Henry McStay's proposed loan move to Mansfield and I am so disappointed for Will because we saw again what a good player he is. "I will have a look at what we have and see what needs to be done before Saturday's game."
