Shrimps caught out by lively Luton

29 March 2009 16:25
The Shrimps got off to a good start with Stuart Drummond putting them in front after 21 minutes before goals from Chris Martin and Kevin Gallen handed all three points to the Hatters. "When you lose at home and a run like this one comes to an end you are obviously going to be disappointed," McIlroy admitted. "But we have done well over the past few months and I am proud of the lads because they have given me everything. "I was disappointed with the goals we conceded, especially the winner which looked two yards offside but at the same time I thought Luton had a goal disallowed which looked a good one to me and it is a case of swings and roundabouts. "We now have to prepare the side to bounce back from this one and it is up to us to lift the side because we don't want the season to fizzle out."
