Morecambe are in talks to sign Wrexham midfielder Andy Fleming, according to Dragons boss Dean Saunders. The 22-year-old rejected the offer of a new deal from the Blue Square Premier club at the end of last season and the two clubs are discussing a compensation package for the player. Saunders told the Daily Post: "There has been some interest in Andy Fleming from Morecambe. We're waiting to see what they're going to offer and we are talking about a compensation package. "Andy has come a long way in a short space of time since I've been here. He won player of the year last season and we've had interest from a few clubs, but none have been willing to put the money on the table. "We can't stop players wanting to move higher up because that's what football is about. If he goes on and does well in his career I will take great pleasure in watching that. "He's getting better all the time and will be a good signing for some club in the Football League."
