Sammy tells Shrimps to get uglier

The Shrimps were thumped 5-1 in the Carling Cup by neighbours Preston on Tuesday night after a defensive horror show. McIlroy is demanding a vast improvement when they face the Brewers and says solidity at the back must be the priority. He said: "It's something we work on a lot and we need to get it right quickly. "I don't want us to play pretty football and lose every week. "We need to do the uglier things better."
