Sammy happy with Shrimps point

The result halted the Shrimps' seven-match winning run, but McIlroy admitted that their League Two opponents had deserved their point.[LNB]McIlroy said: "I'm happy to come away with a 1-1. I thought Grimsby played very well.[LNB]"The conditions were a bit tragic but both teams had a real go. We scored to go 1-0 up and then Grimsby hit back with a wonder goal.[LNB]"That's the first goal we have conceded in six games but it took a wonder goal to do it. They deserved something, Grimsby. I thought they played very well."[LNB]McIlroy also hailed Barry Roche's performance at Blundell Park.[LNB]He added: "Barry Roche showed why he is the best goalkeeper in the league and I thought the defence looked very solid."[LNB][LNB]
