Roche slams sorry Shrimps
Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche has admitted a vast improvement is required after his side were thumped 4-0 at Oxford on Saturday.
The Shrimps were utterly outplayed as their dismal start to the season left them rock-bottom of npower League Two after five games.
"Quite frankly we were an embarrassment," said Roche.
"Oxford were sharper, brighter and better than us all over the pitch, we were second to every ball.
"The scoreline in no way flattered Oxford and it could have been more."
