Roche gaffe condemns Shrimps
A mistake from goalkeeper Barry Roche condemned Morecambe to a 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat at York.
City trialist David McDermott was the beneficiary when his 20-yard free-kick went straight through Roche's legs and into the net with 10 minutes remaining.
Roche had been kept busy throughout the first half while Richard Brodie also hit a post for the non-league side.
