Andy had been a local college student on non-contract terms with Bury for three years until September 20th 2005 when his life suddenly changed . He was offered a two year professional contract and a week later he was making his full league debut for the Shakers at Oxford United . He put in a strong and determined display and seems to have made a very strong case for a place in the first team .
