Morecambe FC unveils stadium name

Morecambe Football Club's new £12m stadium is to be called "The Globe Arena" after the club sealed a £250,000 sponsorship deal.Globe Construction, who are building the new ground at Westgate, have agreed to sponsor the club for five years. The 6,000 capacity stadium will also be used for community sports activities and ready for the 2010/11 season.
