Options for Morecambe boss

Jim Bentley could keep faith with the Morecambe side that made history at the weekend when they return to the Globe Arena to face Wycombe.

The Shrimps defeated Accrington Stanley in the Football League for the first time ever, ending a 16-match unbeaten run, as midfielder Aaron Wildig shrugged off concerns over his knee to score the only goal.

With defender Adam Dugdale (ankle) and midfielder Tom Barkhuizen (thigh) back in training, manager Bentley is expected to have even more options too.

Captain Peter Murphy, who moved to Morecambe from Wycombe this summer, will definitely miss out because of a knee problem.

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has another injury problem to contend with after Danny Rowe limped off on Saturday.

Rowe is doubtful after being forced off at Barnet, further stretching resources for Ainsworth who has yet to be able to name seven substitutes on a matchday this season.

Rowe's fellow defender Anthony Stewart (knee) suffered a knock against Fulham last week and is unlikely to return in time, so Ainsworth may switch to a back three.

Midfielder Max Kretzschmar (ankle) will be assessed but goalkeeper Barry Richardson (knee) remains sidelined so Alex Lynch - recalled from his loan spell at Wealdstone prior to the 2-0 win at Barnet - will continue on the bench.
