Morecambe will be without striker Jack Kelleher for the visit of Newport in the Sky Bet League Two game on Saturday.
Kelleher has joined Evo-Stik Premier Division side Colwyn Bay on a youth loan until the end of February.
Morecambe manager Jim Bentley has no fresh injury worries but Aaron Wildig is pushing for a start after overcoming a hamstring injury.
