Morecambe missing suspended duo for Carlisle clash

Morecambe will be without suspended duo Andy Fleming and Shaun Miller for their home clash against Carlisle.

Midfielder Fleming was sent off against Bristol Rovers on Saturday while forward Miller picked up his red card at Oxford on February 13 and serves the second game of his three-match ban.

The Shrimps could also be without defender Adam Dugdale after he suffered a foot injury away at Rovers but Lee Molyneux will return from a groin strain.

Aaron Wildig is also likely to feature as the midfielder continues his comeback from the hamstring injury he sustained against Yeovil last month.

Carlisle boss Keith Curle will be without goalkeeper Mark Gillespie as he serves a one-match ban following his dismissal in Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.

Gillespie was sent off after bringing down striker Tom Elliott but the Cumbrians decided against an appeal after reviewing the incident and that will hand Dan Hanford a first league start since April last year.

Curle made two changes for the midweek game with on-loan Newcastle duo Macaulay Gillesphey and Alex Gilliead returning to the starting line-up in place of defender David Atkinson, who was nursing a knock, and midfielder Luke Joyce.

Midfielder Antony Sweeney is likely to be missing for several weeks after suffering a hamstring injury, while skipper Danny Grainger and fellow defender Tom Miller remain sidelined by ankle and hamstring problems respectively.
