Morecambe impose vuvuzela ban
Morecambe have joined a growing list of clubs to ban the vuvuzela ahead of the new season.
The horn-type instrument came to prominence at the World Cup in South Africa but the Shrimps say they will be prohibited at their new Globe Arena stadium.
A club statement said: "The plastic horns, which became a symbol of the World Cup in South Africa this summer, will not be allowed into the Globe Arena after the Board of Directors voted to ban them for the forthcoming season."
