Mansfield beat Morecambe after late fightback

Two goals in the last four minutes earned Mansfield victory at Morecambe.

Adam Murray's side trailed to a Paul Mullin penalty with time running out but staged a late rally to take advantage of some woeful Morecambe defending and take the points.

Mullin gave the home side the lead in the 71st minute from the penalty spot after Nicky Hunt had pulled down Kevin Ellison in the box and the striker made no mistake from the spot.

Tom Barkhuizen wasted a glorious chance to double the home side's advantage on 78 minutes when he dragged a shot wide from a great opening and that miss sparked the Stags' comeback.

Chris Clements was in the perfect place to level the scores when he latched on to Barry Roche's mistake to score from close range on 86 minutes.

The visitors then won the game on the stroke of full time when Sean Kavanagh embarked on a fine run into the Morecambe box, Lee Collins stabbed the ball towards goal and Adi Yussuf stroked home from six yards out.
