Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has made former Shrewsbury Town defender Darren Moss his first signing of the summer.
The 28-year-old right-back has inked a two-year contract with the Shrimps after rejecting the offer of a new contract with Paul Simpson's side.
McIlroy said: "Darren's a very experienced defender at this level and I'm delighted that he's agreed a move to Christie Park. He'll be an excellent addition to the squad."
However, McIlroy's attempt to bring Curtis Allen to Christie Park has failed after the Lisburn Distillery striker opted to join Linfield.
