Midfielder Twiss leaves Morecambe

Michael Twiss has left League Two Morecambe after 230 games in six years.The Salford-born midfielder, who began his career as a trainee with Manchester United, joins defender Danny Adams who was released on Wednesday. "I have been in and out of the side over the past two years," Twiss told the club's official website. "I'm 32 now and just want to play regularly.
