McIlroy won't rest on laurels

Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy hopes to bring three new players to Christie Park next month as he attempts to guide the Shrimps to a second successive promotion.
Victories against Hereford United and Chester City in the last week have lifted McIlroy's side into play-off contention - a magnificent feat in their first season in the League.
The former Manchester United star said: "The time has come to add to the squad and I'm probably looking at bringing two or three players in.
"It is just a matter of trying to get the targets I want lined up, but I've made good progress this week. If we want to kick on and make further progress we've got to improve the squad.
"That is no disrespect to the lads who won us promotion because they have done a fantastic job - and they are still doing that now.
"We have had a wonderful Christmas, beating Hereford and Chester, so we've shown we are not overawed by this division.
"But I think we do need to strengthen our ranks now - we can't rest on our laurels."
