Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy says he is in no hurry to make major moves in the transfer market this summer.
The Shrimps chief is not expecting to bring in a large number of new players and is prepared to wait to land his preferred targets.
He told the club's official website: "I am not looking to make huge changes to the squad, but it has been really busy already with plenty of phone calls.
"If you look around a lot of clubs are releasing a lot of players, more than usual it seems.
"There are a lot of good players being released as well, which is a sign of the times, but it means there will be more players than ever looking for clubs and it would be foolish to rush into things."
